Swan Bay Gardens for Wildlife

Gardens for Wildlife logo

This project received establishment funds from the QPLCE

This is an initiative developed by the Swan Bay Environment Association supported by the Borough of Queenscliffe for our local area. It is similar to programs operating in other areas of Victoria.

There is no cost to participants, it is about:

  • Sharing and promoting biodiversity for native flora and fauna.
  • Devoting your whole garden or part of your garden for locally threatened wildlife.
  • Providing habitat planted with locally indigenous or other suitable Australian plants.
  • You and your relationship to your garden.

Participants receive a garden assessment, written report, plants from the Queenscliffe Indigenous Plant Nursery, Newsletters, offer (if not already done) of joining the Queenscliffe Community Environment Alliance.
